Lower Back Tattoos

Lower back tattoos have really taken off over the last ten years or so. This is largely due to the overall increase in popularity of tattoos for women in general, as the majority of lower back tattoos are on females.

Whether on men or women, however, the lower back makes for a great canvas for tattoo art. Your imagination is the only limit for what you can put there. There are certain designs that are better suited for other parts of the body. For example, a wrap-around type of image for the wrists or arms. But if you want a relatively flat surface to ink a larger image, the lower back is always something to consider.
